User Programmable Inputs
The Gateway 2000 Series is ideal for remote data acquisition via the Internet. Channels 1-8 is user programmable as analogue or digital inputs, while channels 8 & 9 are dedicated for digital inputs only. Analogue inputs take 4-20mA or 0-5VDC signals. Digital inputs take volt-free contacts or 5VDC signal. 

Multiple Internet Connectivity
This series has a wide range of Internet connectivity options, including built-in PSTN and Ethernet, external PSTN, GSM, GPRS, WiFi, RF modems, ACeS and VSAT. Selected models have dual (redundant) connectivity, where a back connection is used when the primary connection fails.  

Health Check
The Gateway Device can be programmed to log off after a certain period of inactivity, or to remain online at all times. When it is offline, it can be programmed to logon periodically even if there is no new data to report to the Server. This Health Check feature ensures that any communication line or hardware failure will not go unnoticed. The Health Check frequency is user programmable.

Devices Log File
The Gateway 2000 Series is an Embedded Internet Gateway and a data logger combined. Local logging in  non-volatile memory stores the last 100 events and 100 analogue data sets. 

RS485 Local Area Network - I/O expansion
Several appliances can be networked together using only one Gateway Device and one telephone line. Up to 15 external Slave devices can be connected to this Gateway, expanding the capability to 160 input and 32 output channels. Compatible with Slave 1000 Series.
